In fact, they seemed even more delighted that I didn't get it, like their hearing the tease and me missing it was directly part of their overall enjoyment, a phenomenon I totally grok from taking first timers to Phish. But the guitar tone is not exceptional and the riffs aren't particularly intricate, he's onto something but it isn't a thing I think I'll ever be on the inside of.
